As the pioneer in producing synthetic fibres in Taiwan, Hualon Corporation started out with the island's first polyester factory. Today the company stands as Taiwan's 10th largest private enterprise, with a history that well reflects the couse of development of the widely quoted "Taiwan Miracle".
Established in 1967 and over the short span of approximate 32 years, Hualon Corporation now boasts of a worldclass textile producer with a vertical integration encompassing polyester, nylon, yarn spinning and fabrics weaving. Each step along the way, growths of Hualon Corporation have been earmarked by a spirit of "always striving for yet the better still". Remaining committed to the improvement of quality of life of everyone, the company continues her advancement on solid ground and firm footing.
Underlining the business philosophy of Hualon Corporation is the firm conviction that we should always give something back to the communities wherever we conduct businesses. Alongside the overall economic ups and downs of Taiwan for more than thirty years, Hualon Coproration had her share of setbacks and triumphs and has been able to claim an NTD4.3billion profit per annum. At present, the company's business interest has grown to cover also real estate, insurance and financing, electronies, and the aerospace industry, with production sites in Japan, Vietnam etc.
